Dating to around the 1930's, this splendid vintage Diamond three stone or 'Trilogy' ring is lovely quality. In the style and metal which would have been immensely fashionable at the time, the design is a classic. The three captivating hand cut Diamonds have a blazing fire and are beautifully white; the centre an older re-used early Victorian era cushion shape (measured at 0.18ct) and the two side stones 'Old European Cuts' circa 1890's (each 0.16ct) with their more 'perfect' faceting which disperses the sparkle so gorgeously. Every aspect of the triple coronet mount is hand made and one can even see the tiny strokes of the saw blade upon magnification. Wonderful and so precious in contrast to today's mass production of jewellery. The mark 'PLAT' is applied inside the shank as there was not hallmark for Platinum until 1975. The ring size, which is an 'R' or '8.5' could easily be adjusted to suit. We do so for free, just leave us a message on your order form.
